Eric Beam

I began playing Trumpet 34 years ago. I began my formal studies in music education and moved on to study the music I loved the most, Jazz, which I continue to study always. During and after my studies I began performing locally and regionally at many different venues from clubs to festivals playing Jazz, Blues, Top 40, Funk and Reggae.

In my many years of experience I have taught beginners to advanced trumpeters how to become accomplished players via Fun and Fundamentals! After all music is about having FUN expressing yourself musically! And learning the grand instrument of Trumpet requires fundamentals to become great, something I have an ability to communicate to students no matter the level of player.

Whether your desire is to learn beginning trumpet, increase your skill level, move up a few chairs in concert band, increase your range and endurance, perform a live solo, compete in regional competition, play in a jazz band, or learn to improvise jazz solos, I can help get you there and we will enjoy doing it together.
